Originally from Chicopee, Massachusetts, I started playing the guitar at the age of 10. I was tired of waiting to hear my favourite songs on the radio and wanted to play them on my own time. My Mom eventually bought me my first guitar and the rest is history.
I joined the Army and traveled to Texas, Maryland, North Carolina, Montana, Washington, and Oregon, eventually settling down in Loudoun County, Virginia. I absorbed all I could from the musicians local to those areas and those around me.
Much of my music is inspired by Pierre Bensusan, Andy McKee, Don Ross, Eric Johnson, Eric Tingstad, and Tommy Emmanuel.
With nearly 20 years of playing, I like to believe my music is a blend of bluegrass, country, and fingerstyle acoustic utilizing percussive and tapping techniques, and non-standard chord voicings.
I play on a Yamaha A5R Acoustic-Electric guitar.
